MN Court of Appeals Rules State Cannot Constitutionally Uphold Urine or Blood Test Law

A Minnesota Court of Appeals ruled yesterday that it is unconstitutional to uphold a law making it illegal to refuse a blood or urine test without a warrant. FULL STORY

After New Year, You Can't Register Vehicles Without Insurance

Per Minnesota State Statute 169.798 Subd. 4, effective January 1, 2016 insurance information must be provided at the time of registration renewal (vehicle tabs), title transfer, or application for new Minnesota title/registration. Proof of insurance includes insurance company name, policy number, and policy expiration date. Vehicle owners will not be allowed to renew their vehicle registration without providing the required information.
